Meet Kourtney

Owner and head designer of KD Floral & Events. She began originally as a self- taught florist (with her own fair share of trial & error) then she began furthering her knowledge through workshops and classes. She is a Licensed Retail Florist who focuses in Southwest Louisiana, but does branch out throughout surrounding areas. She loves a challenge involving installations and one of a kind statement floral arrangements. Kourtney prides herself on working one-on-one with each client to create a unique design that completes the brides dream vision.

When Kourtney isn’t meeting with brides, or arranging one of a kind arrangements; she is either at work as a Critical Care Nurse, or spending time with her family; Josh, Duke and Lena.

 KD Floral all started out simply by coincidence; a hobby assisting with florals and décor for friends and families weddings and small events. Through those events a love and passion for florals has grown and become a major part of daily life. Kourtney loves everything floral, color, and details. Kourtney was  a bride herself in 2018; so she understands the stress and need for uniqueness that every bride goes through during the planning process; her goal is to eliminate the stress and highlight the uniqueness to make every brides floral dreams come true.
